The Quran

The Qur'an is a book that is the light and guidance of all mankind, sent to support the correct and true understanding of the previous books. We will also talk about the topics related to this book and explain some of the specific issues related to it. This site will not base its foundations on the traditional Islamic interpretation of the book, but on the basis of the lights that are found in all the books from Ellah and as Ibn Arabi says,

"The lights do not suppress each other, but they become stronger and brighter"

just like the shining lamps on the road, the light will be clearer and the path we're walking will become more transparent. Ibn Arabi, a prominent Sufi mystic and philosopher, often explored the concept of divine light and its manifestations. His idea that “the lights do not suppress each other” reflects his belief in the harmonious coexistence of different divine revelations.
This concept is part of his broader metaphysical framework where he discusses theophanies, or divine manifestations, which include the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran as different expressions of the same divine truth. In his works, Ibn Arabi emphasizes that these revelations are all part of a single, unified divine reality.

He believed that each book of God—whether it be the Torah, the Gospel, or the Quran—represents a unique aspect of divine wisdom and light, and they complement rather than contradict each other. If you’re interested in exploring more about his thoughts, you might find his book “The Bezels of Wisdom” (Fusus al-Hikam) particularly insightful. It delves into his interpretations of various prophets and their roles in conveying divine wisdom.
